A Recognized Training Employer (AED) is an employer that provides work experience and training that meets the practical experience requirements of accountants. Second, you must have a practical experience agreement with a recognized CA tutor. If this is not an option, an experienced accountant is acceptable elsewhere. Completing your training with professional experience and professional mentoring A Recognised Training Employer (RTE) is an internal rating system approved by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. You are responsible for finding your own mentor. An experienced accountant in your work would be a good start. Mentors must be an experienced full member of CA, either at Chartered Accountants ANZ or a member of the Global Accounting Alliance (GAA), with which CA ANZ has a comprehensive recognition agreement. The ideal mentor is an experienced accountant who works for your employer.
If this is not an option, you can request an external CA tutoring as long as it meets the program requirements. All mentors must be an experienced accountant, who is currently a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ, or a foreign organization also recognized (a member of the Global Accounting Alliance). Your ca-mentor will oversee and assist your progress during the Chartered Accountants Program`s hands-on experience. An accounting role is considered „relevant“ if it contains depth of experience in at least one of the following technical areas: practical experiences are recorded in the candidate`s logbook.
